About
Stephanie Price is a Research Fellow with the Sexual Violence Research and Prevention Unit at UniSC. Her research focuses on restorative justice, sexual violence prevention, and gender equity in policing, with an emphasis on bridging academic knowledge with policy and practice. She has led and contributed to research commissioned by government and community partners, including a report for the Queensland Family & Child Commission on international best practice in the prevention of child sexual abuse.
Stephanie’s current projects include investigating the accessibility of child sexual abuse prevention services across Australia, managing an evaluation of Stymie—an innovative harm-reduction tool that enables the anonymous reporting of adolescent harms in schools—and leading research into the utility of restorative justice to respond to cases involving sexual harm. Through this work, she contributes to the development of evidence-based approaches that not only strengthen justice responses but also prioritise prevention and healing for individuals and communities impacted by violence and harm.
