About

Biography

My research focuses on understanding psychological factors involved in psychotic symptoms and developing and testing empirically derived, targeted, psychological interventions for people experiencing psychosis. My research is informed by, and informs, my practice as a clinical psychologist, in which I have worked predominantly in services for people experiencing psychosis and people who have experienced traumatic events. I am an associate editor for the journal Psychology and Psychotherapy: Theory, Research and Practice. I am currently CI and therapy lead on an NHMRC funded clinical trial: Avatar-mediated therapy for hallucinations: superiority trial (AMETHYST).
