Michelle’s research focuses on the role of normative influences in explaining drivers’ engagement in risky driving behaviours. She is also involved in a number of research projects exploring phone use while driving and cognitive dissonance, and peer protection to prevent drink driving. Michelle employs both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
