About

I have a Bachelor of Marine Studies (Honours) from The University of Queensland, and now finalised my PhD in marine ecology at the University of the Sunshine Coast, investigating bycatch risk of threatened marine megafauna in pelagic longline fisheries. My research combined predictive modelling and experimental trials to investigate environmental drivers of leatherback turtle, albatross, and shearwater interactions with an Australian longline fishery, and evaluated practical approaches for reducing bycatch while supporting sustainable fisheries management.
