About

Dr Levi Anderson is a criminologist and policing researcher who has been actively engaged in road safety research since 2017. His work focuses on road policing, driver behaviour, and the complex challenges surrounding the enforcement of drink and drug driving.

Levi has just completed a project examining how drivers perceive the different design elements of police vehicles and their liveries, and how this can influence driver behaviour on Queensland roads. Currently, Levi is leading several road policing research projects that examine topics such as mobile point-to-point speed enforcement, the comparative impacts of camera-based and police officer enforcement interactions, and perceptions around changes to drug-driving enforcement. Through this work, Levi aims to generate evidence-based insights that support the evolution of enforcement practices, enhance public safety, and reduce trauma on Queensland roads.
