My research focuses on the integration of digital health technologies into community and primary care nursing, particularly remote home monitoring systems that support older adults to age in place. I examine how these technologies influence clinical decision-making, professional identifies, roles, and models of care in community nursing.

My doctoral research uses a mixed-methods design to explore community nurses’ behavioural intention to adopt remote monitoring technologies in pre-implementation contexts. More broadly, my work engages with clinical governance, patient safety, and long-term condition management, with an emphasis on translating digital innovation into sustainable, evidence-informed practice.
