About

Biography

Kathina's research focuses on the promotion of mental health and wellbeing as well as the prevention of mental illness. Kathina has a specific research and clinical interest in eating disorders. She is passionate about breaking down barriers towards help-seeking, and to improve knowledge about body image and eating disorders. In her research she has developed and evaluated innovative, digital interventions to facilitate help-seeking and prevent eating disorders. She is also interested in investigating and improving the mental health and wellbeing of other vulnerable groups and the general public.
