Biography

Janice Layh has been lecturing at USC since 2007 across nursing undergraduate and post graduate courses. She has 42 years of acute experience in nursing and midwifery in acute hospital settings, including emergency and retrieval nursing. Janice is currently the Program Coordinator for the nursing program at USC.


Janice has completed a PhD investigating the Experiences of the Multidisciplinary team in providing End of Life care. She has a Bachelor degree in Health Promotion, Graduate Certificate in Health Management and a Masters in Advanced Nursing Practice. She is also involved with mentor support at the Australian College of Nursing for the Emerging Nurse Leader program.
