About

My work focuses on trophic ecology of freshwater ecosystems within subtropical and tropical peat swamps (with case studies on Fraser Island, Australia and Terengganu, Malaysia). Previously, I have also worked on characterizing behavioural ecology of freshwater decapods, including how threats such as acidification and drought can affect the critically endangered Singapore freshwater crab Johora singaporensis.
