About

Dr Colleen Johnston-Devin is a Senior Lecturer in nursing. She has many years of experience working in hospitals and community settings all over Australia, including cities, regional and rural areas. Colleen completed a PhD with a thesis titled “The lived experience of CRPS”. Colleen's research profile includes persistent pain, lived experience, and patient management of persistent pain. She has a special interest in the self-management of complex regional pain syndrome and the pain education of health professionals. Colleen’s career goal is to improve the chronic pain experience for people by a) enabling people with chronic pain to self-manage and b) to positively impact pain education received by health professional students.
