About

Dr Clare Dix is a lecturer at the University of the Sunshine Coast and an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a PhD in dietetics from the University of Queensland. She is passionate about advancing the field of nutrition and dietetics. She has contributed to publications and conferences on bariatric surgery, child health, health promotion, and clinical education. She is also an experienced lecturer, teaching various undergraduate and postgraduate nutrition courses.

Dr Dix was the project manager for the Nutritious Tools Project, an initiative that aimed to improve access to nutrition information for families with children under five and led to the creation of the Grow&Go Toolbox. She has over a decade of experience leading and managing research projects, collaborating with academic and industry partners, and securing grants and funding.
