About
Bree Glasbergen – BA, DipCouns, DipHospMgt.
Bree is a Master of Creative Arts Candidate and a Sessional Academic at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC). She presently teaches Indigenous Studies & Education in the School of Law and Society. Bree was awarded a BA in Theatre & Performance and English (2023). She graduated with an Academic Medal of Excellence, a Student Leadership award and the university’s coveted UniSC Chancellor’s medal.
Her creative practice-led research centres around inclusive ways to capture and nurture women’s voices through performance and writing. Additionally, Bree’s research explores peer-led student belonging and ways to support studying parents in tertiary education.
Bree’s research interests include: oracle cards, interactive performance/events, voice-as-agency, belonging, theatre and performance, equitable access to study and playwriting.
Bree is a theatre practitioner, poet and studying parent. She is passionate about teaching, student belonging and student success.
