Veronica is an award winning filmmaker with a diverse background, working across film and disability in a myriad of contexts where she has marries creativity and advocacy with screen production being a key driver in her work.
Her slate encompasses documentary, drama, short film, animation and online series where her desire to co-create with diverse collaborators in bringing both factual and scripted works to the screen is evident.
Veronica has led state and federal funded screen based projects co-designed with people with intellectual disability. She currently works with the award-winning Australian non-profit social enterprise Bus Stop Films using filmmaking to provide people with disabilities and marginalized communities access to the film industry. Veronica wears many hats at any given time, as an independent writer producer and project manager and is a sessional academic with the University of the Sunshine Coast and Griffith Film School.
