About
I am a business and information technology generalist, spending most of my career in cross-functional domains across the enterprise to increase both breadth and depth of professional and technical expertise.
My corporate experience is predominantly in technology, with global responsibilities supporting business initiatives across various functions, including information systems, human resources, training, learning and development, marketing, corporate finance, engineering, and sales. With 25 years in the industry, my roles cover administration, systems development, process and data analysis, change enablement, project and program management, business intelligence and operations.
I enjoy contributing to healthy team cultures and outcome-focused strategic partnerships and leading with an energetic, collaborative, and agile approach.
Current Research:
Many universities have incorporated work-integrated learning (WIL) in the form of industry work experience or capstone projects as mandatory components in their degree programs. The applied learnings in real-world settings are designed to aid knowledge retention, support practical skills development, and improve employability after graduation. This research seeks to observe student activities and performance within capstone projects sourced through a regional council pilot program with several student cohorts from the same university.
This particular context may provide a different viewpoint on student learning outcomes, perceived performance, and skills development. If the explored themes indicate a positive relationship, the direct collaboration between a regional council and university on capstone projects could be expanded and replicated for a greater public and social benefit.
