Kirsty Stafford (BSc (Physiology & Biochem.) USyd, MOT USyd) is a full-time Clinical Lecturer in Occupational Therapy, School of Health, University of the Sunshine Coast. Kirsty brings a breadth of experience to her teaching with a pre-hospital care training and remote area practice background prior to completing her Masters in Occupational Therapy at the University of Sydney. Kirsty has a special interest in clinical skill development and simulation-based learning with her main teaching focus is to facilitate high levels of competency and professionalism for Occupational Therapy students in readiness for professional practice.

Kirsty is passionate about supporting current and future health professionals to apply effective evidence-based principles to clinical and professional practice. Her current area of research focus is in health professional education and innovation with experience in qualitative and mixed methods approaches.
