Dr Karen Schoots is a Research Associate with the MAIC/UniSC Road Safety Research Collaboration.
Karen uses both quantitative and qualitative research methods to examine road safety issues across rural, regional, remote, and urban environments. She is involved in projects exploring road rule compliance and behaviour change, with a particular focus on driver education and training, distracted driving, speeding, and impaired driving. Karen also supervises honours students undertaking research in these areas.
