Biography

Dr. James Clark obtained his PhD from the Queensland University of Technology in 2023 and moved into a Lecturer position at UniSC in May 2023. James co-ordinates the Sport and Exercise Psychology (SPX222) and Applied Psychology in Healthcare courses (PSY103) at UniSC.

Research

Dr. James Clark's research areas are related to sport and exercise psychology - with the broad goal to help people get the most out of sport and exercise, from weekend warriors to elite athletes. He has a particular interest in mental toughness, goals of athletes, and women's sport. He has published papers in high impact journals in the field of sport and exercise psychology (Psychology of Sport and Exercise, Journal of Sport Sciences).
