About
Jacy Hyland is a PhD candidate and research assistant at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Her research explores how lifestyle factors such as diet and physical activity can improve symptoms of insomnia, with a focus on how best to support people in making and sustaining healthy lifestyle changes. Jacy is passionate about developing and implementing effective, evidence-based interventions that promote lasting behaviour change.
In 2023, she completed a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) (Honours) at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Alongside her doctoral studies, Jacy contributes to projects on sleep health and chronic illness, and is actively involved in initiatives within the Healthy Ageing Research Cluster.
