About

My research focuses on mitigating the effects of climate and land-use changes on aquatic-terrestrial linkages to conserve ecosystem function and biodiversity in altered landscapes using evidence-based strategies for sustainable resource management. Principally, I investigate the interactive and cumulative effects of multiple environmental stressors on water quality, ecosystem function and biodiversity structures in altered aquatic landscapes. Broadly, my skills include water chemical analyses, ecosystem functioning, forest management, stream ecology, biomonitoring, ecological restoration, vegetation surveys, community ecology, functional ecology as well as ecological and biodiversity monitoring across aquatic ecosystems.
