About
I'm a PhD candidate, researcher, and sessional academic based at the Thompson Institute 🧠. My interests span cognitive and behavioural neuroscience, neuropsychology, and healthy brain ageing, with a particular curiosity for understanding why we think, learn, and behave the way we do.
My research aims to understand how ageing influences the way people learn, form habits, and adapt their behaviour. Using behavioural paradigms and neuroimaging, we're exploring the cognitive and neural mechanisms that underlie adaptive behavioural change across the adult lifespan, contributing to a broader understanding of healthy brain ageing.
Alongside my research, I'm passionate about teaching and science communication, particularly making complex neuroscience concepts engaging, accessible, and relevant to everyday life!
Outside of academia, you can usually find me with my nose in a book, attempting to catch some waves, or passionately following the emotional rollercoaster of the Formula 1 calendar. 📚🏄♀️🏎️
