Asmita is an associate lecturer in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of the Sunshine Coast, QLD. Asmita is a PhD candidate at Latrobe University, researching feeding difficulties in young children with a high likelihood of autism. Asmita has practised as an Occupational Therapist in Australia and the United States of America. Asmita has worked both in the public and private health sectors. Her clinical experience is comprised of paediatrics (including newborns); rehabilitation; rural generalist (sole practitioner in a rural hospital) and clinical education. Asmita is passionate about paediatric Occupational Therapy and rural & remote health care.
