This paper presents a framework for the study of Total Quality Management (TQM) application in Queensland businesses. Benchmarking, training, process improvement, customer relationships, supplier relationships and employee empowerment are some of the TQM factors considered in this study. A mail survey approach will be used for data collection following the interviews with the senior managers of businesses and quality management consultants on the Sunshine Coast.
