Abstract
Commissioned for the 100-year anniversary of the University of Queensland's Women's College, this historical drama brought to life the College Centenary theme of "empowering women leaders". The performance recounted the true stories of many of the famous women who attended the Women's College, including Sallyanne Atkinson, Penny Wensley, Lady Diane Cilento and Anna Bligh. It also celebrated the lives of the Heads of College (including founder Freda Badge) who were unflappably strong matriarchs determined to allow all women to attend university and gain a tertiary education.
