Abstract
In the first few chapters of this book, we have explored the history of mentorship and its relationship to education, leadership, and practice. In this chapter, we will be looking some of the professional and personal attributes a mentor should role model and how the environment, or workplace culture, in which the midwife works, teaches, and mentors impacts or influences these.
