Abstract
This pedestrian entrance gate commemorates the 130th anniversary of the school and the opening of a new Preschool building in 2005. The project involved each of 250 children from Preschool to Grade 5 drawing a figure to represent themselves. Approximately seventy were then selected and developed during computer workshops with the children. The resulting figures were CNC cut in aluminium and demonstrate the development of drawing and cognition between age 4 and 10. Thanks to all at the school for a great project.
