Intersection #1 and 2
Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Melbourne, Australia, 2018)
2018
Abstract
The Reflection Space at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre is open 24 hours a day and provides a quiet space for reflection, personal prayer, meditation and sanctuary for people of all faiths and those with no religious affiliation. Intersection #1 and 2 were developed in consultation with the hospital's art curator and the Spiritual Care Team to provide a focus for the wide variety of Reflection Space users. The use of spatial imagination creates a reflective contemporary work that reveals depth through contemplation and evokes a feeling for time.
