Abstract
This report presents the phase I formative evaluation findings for the School-based Playgroup Quality Assurance Trial (Trial), Queensland to embed a quality improvement process into the day to day practices of Playgroups. The Trial is a pilot initiative of the Department of Education, North Coast Region, Early Childhood and Care, Queensland that engaged a research team from the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) in 2020 to develop and undertake the evaluation.
