Abstract
In this report we present the state of the small to medium -scale finfish mariculture value chain in Cambodia which is currently dominated by culture of Asian seabass / barramundi (Lates calcarifer). Our explorations are explicitly gendered as we specifically explored the roles of men, women and youth. This survey was undertaken in two coastal provinces of Cambodia during 2019 as an activity under the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) Project FIS/2016/130 ‘Accelerating the development of finfish mariculture in Cambodia through south-south research cooperation with Indonesia’.
