Abstract
This report focuses on the role of natural assets in promoting a strong and growing economy in the Sunshine Coast region, with expanding job opportunities and sustainable industrial development designed to enhance the wellbeing of the community in future years. A key objective of the report is to highlight the dependence of industries in the region on natural assets and where Council might directly or indirectly support future growth and economic activity by means of investments in natural assets and other policy or planning instruments.
