University of the Sunshine Coast
2021
Abstract
The construction industry is a major source of income and employment in the Sunshine Coast region and is anticipated to continue in that role over coming decades. Achieving economic development of the region while maintaining its natural advantage requires ensuring that the activities and physical transformations of the environment by the construction industry do not degrade the values associated with natural assets.
