My-AHA: D3.1 Initial risk model for the four frailty components
MY-AHA Consortium
2016
Abstract
This deliverable specifies the risk models for key outcomes in the 4 frailty domains (cognitive, physical, psychological, social). A Bayesian mathematical framework allows the integration of a wide range of published data on these outcomes in a personalised risk probability, including prevalence data for risk outcome background probability estimates, odds ratios to personalise the risk with individual risk factor profiles, and test results for clinically validated tests to yield even more precise personalised information about health status. The relevant information for the outcomes in the 4 domains is then described and collated in tables in the domain-specific sections. This deliverable builds a bridge between the health science and technical/software expertise in my-AHA, and the information presented here will enable the construction of software that can generate interactive personalised risk profiles based on a large volume of published scientific data.
