This document reports the findings of an action research study involving Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Paramedic Science and Public Health disciplines. The STAR teaching framework was refined, tested and evaluated throughout Semester 1 of 2011. The impact of the study throughout the School of Health and Sport Sciences and the University of the Sunshine Coast is discussed. The project commends STAR as a useful framework that should be disseminated widely.
