Abstract
The Crystallising STEM Careers (2021–2023) project (NCIPII000141) was a large-scale, evidence-based initiative designed to shift perceptions of STEM and strengthen participation pathways for students in Years 4–10, with a clear focus on improving female representation in STEM. Delivered across 64 schools and engaging 3,304 students and 236 teachers, the project embedded STEM-focused Career and Technical Education (CTE) into authentic classroom lessons aligned to real-world careers.
