Abstract

digital health fathers SMS (short message service) SMS4dads
Mobile health (mHealth) interventions have gained prominence in health promotion and research in recent years due to their wide reach, cost-effectiveness, and real-time interactivity. Among these, the Short Message Service (SMS) (text messaging) has been particularly effective in engaging participants in health behaviour change programs, including those targeting parents . Text messaging programs offer a practical and scalable platform for delivering health information and collecting real-time participant responses. The approach to collecting participant information, however, plays a critical role in determining participant engagement, response rates, and data quality.
