BIGSOUND 2025 generated a total economic impact of $20.15 million for the Greater Brisbane Region, based on direct expenditure of $8.03 million and applying the UNESCO cultural festival economic multiplier of 2.51. The event attracted 12,002 unique attendees over three days, comprising industry delegates, artists, speakers, and general public attendees. The event's economic value extends beyond direct spending to encompass substantial indirect and induced effects throughout Brisbane's tourism, hospitality, and creative industries sectors.

These findings are calculated from a triangulation of data sets. Specifically, this reporting analysed quantitative economic data (revenue, outgoings, punters, etc) from both BIGSOUND’s internal reporting and exit survey data. To reach the conclusions provided in this report, the average economic input identified in the exit survey was applied across the larger internal reporting data set to achieve a more refined and comprehensive analysis, ensuring a robust report.
