Abstract
A method for producing one or more Caulerpa species in an aquatic environment, the method of cultivating including the steps of 5 providing a growing tray having a substratum for stolon attachment by the Caulerpa species and a cover comprising a plurality of openings wherein the cover is disposed between the substratum and a light source; placing Caulerpa species between the substratum and the cover; and growing the Caulerpa species whereby fronds of the Caulerpa species penetrate at 10 least one of the plurality of openings of the cover; and harvesting the fronds that penetrate through the cover.
