Patent
A Powerline Communication Impedance Conditioning Circuit
IP Australia
2017
Abstract
Title:
Powerline communication circuit i.e. powerline communication impedance conditioning circuit, has neutral terminal connectable to neutral wire of powerline, and coupling capacitor connecting modem to live wire of powerline
Description:
The circuit (210) has a modem (212) connected to an earth terminal. A coupling capacitor (220) connects the modem to a live terminal. A conditioning circuit couples the live terminal to a neutral terminal. A resistor (254) and a capacitor (252) are connected in series. The earth terminal is connectable to an earth wire (32) of a powerline (18). The live terminal is connectable to a live wire (14) of the powerline. The neutral terminal is connectable to a neutral wire (16) of the powerline. The coupling capacitor connects the modem to the live wire of the powerline.
Potential Uses:
Powerline communication circuit i.e. powerline communication impedance conditioning circuit.
Advantages of Use:
The circuit can provide the consumer with a useful or commercial choice.
