High level river terraces in south London

Abstract

Describes additional occurrences of gravels in south London, and notes the heights of the benches on which they lie. The highest match those of the Westland Green Thames, and it is thought that the Crystal Palace gravel was deposited by an eastward flowing river.-K.Clayton
