Abstract

This report forms part of the Timber Circularity Project which is a three-year nationally funded initiative commenced in 2023. Led by the National Centre for Timber Durability and Design Life (NCTDDL) the project is funded by Forest and Wood Products Australia (FWPA) and industry partners. Task 4 of the Timber Circularity project is to: Develop models to estimate transport costs for specific end-of-life (EOL) treated timber and engineered wood products. The associated deliverable is: Models that can be used to determine most appropriate transport strategies for various materials based on distance, fuel costs and regulations. This document is the Software Requirements Specification (SRS) for Task 4 of the Timber Circularity Project. It details all functional requirements (what the software must do) and non-functional requirements (performance, security, and usability).
