Abstract

We would like to thank Dr Chavez-Guevara [1] for the insightful and detailed comments on our manuscript [2]. The authors welcome the interest and thoughtful engagement with our work, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify and expand upon several key points raised in Dr Chavez-Guevara’s letter to the editor.1 Firstly, our Current Opinion article [2] was never intended to be an exhaustive review of the literature. Its purpose was to highlight factors that may need to be considered when developing a standardised protocol and some of the challenges that may need to be overcome. Therefore, if there was some evidence in the literature that a factor should be considered, even if the evidence was mixed, we included this factor.
