Abstract
In order to prepare wood-plastic composites that meet the needs of high strength and study the effect of pectin solution on the properties of composites, the single factor method was used to analyze the effects of different raw material ratios and different concentrations of pectin solution on industrial hemp stalk fiber/wood fiber/ The influence of the properties of polypropylene composites, the results show that mixing the two fibers can improve the properties of composites. Considering the water absorption and mechanical properties comprehensively, when the ratio of raw materials is 5:5, it is the best value, the thickness expansion rate of water absorption in 24 hours is 2.30%, the static bending strength is 44.5MPa, and the elastic modulus is 2755MPa. When the mixed fibers were treated with pectin solution with a concentration of 0.4%-1.6%, the properties of the composites were all deteriorated (P<0.001). In conclusion, the use of an appropriate ratio of mixed fibers can provide feasibility for the preparation of high-strength composites, but the pretreatment of pectin solution can significantly reduce the mechanical properties of the composites.
