Abstract
The article focuses on the lessons that need to be learnt in terms of sustainable assessment practices, particularly for primary and middle school students and educators. It discusses the relative importance of all experiences in which students engage at school and at home. It analyses the crucial role of assessment in engaging students cognitively, affectively and operationally.
