Tele teaching accounting lectures across a multi campus: a student's perspective
Accounting Education, Vol.11(3), pp.257-270
2002
Abstract
Tele teaching is a form of instruction that transmits image and speech back and forth between two or more physically separate locations. This paper investigates students' views on the use and effectiveness of tele teaching. Tele teaching was used to transmit Introductory Accounting lectures to students at two campus locations in Australia. Results show that, while students did accept that some benefits of tele teaching existed, most preferred the traditional face-to-face approach to teaching accounting.
