Synthesis and characterization of novel self doping watersoluble polynaphthylamines
Polymer, Vol.43(14), pp.4073-4077
2002
Abstract
The oxidative polymerization of 5-amino-1-naphthyloxy acetic acid, 5-amino-1-naphthyloxydifluro acetic acid and 3-(5-aminonaphthyl-oxy)-1-propanesulfonic acid was achieved with reasonable yield (30-56%), and modest electrical conductivity (10-4-10-5 S/cm). The sodium salts of the polymers are soluble in water and exhibit fluorescence. © 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
