Abstract
The article discusses the adoption of simulation in The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine at the University of the Sunshine Coast to prepare nursing students for the complex care requirements of the older adult. Topics include the case studies used to allow students to initiate assessment skills and provide safe nursing care, and the learning environments developed to replicate clinical situations.
