Pollination and nut development of macadamia
Australian Macadamia Society News Bulletin, Vol.41(3), pp.60-61
2013
Abstract
The macadamia kernel is the embryo of the macadamia fruit, so factors that influence fruit drop and embryo development are critical regulators of macadamia yield and quality. This article is based on a recent review of 100 scientific papers that described over 75 years of research on initiation of flower buds, flower structure, pollen transfer, the breeding system and nut development of macadamia.
