Abstract
The New Zealand Historic Places Trust commissioned an archaeological site survey of 5000 acres of coastal land at Opito and Otama on the Coromandel peninsula in New Zealand. Over 100 prehistoric sites ranging from pa, middens, garden sites, quarries and pits were located and recorded.
