Abstract
The article focuses on school-based Health and Physical Education (HPE) in Australia. It informs that the Ministerial Council for Education, Early Childhood Development and Youth Affairs (MCEECDYA) announced that Health and Physical Education would be included in Phase 3 of the National Curriculum development plan which will be core curriculum for all Australian school children from Kindergarten to Year 10.
