The worldwide market of Airbnb accommodation has grown and correspondingly led to a refinement of digital badges to reflect better service quality in the form of "Superhosts". However, few studies have examined how online reviews on these superhosts manifest differently in terms of service quality outcomes across various cities and contexts. Addressing the lack of studies in this space, this research examines the similarities and differences in Airbnb Superhost service quality across four different cities-London, Paris, Bangkok, and Tokyo, and in turn, develops a typology of how these contents reveal cross-cultural differences. Content analysis and Leximancer were used as tools for data analysis. The findings in this study enhance existing literature on Airbnb service quality and offer theoretical and practical contributions to distinguish Airbnb reviewer comments where superhosts and guests come from different cultural backgrounds, and how this can lead to a redesign of more culturally inclusive spaces.
