An EVERY-day approach to teaching number facts

Abstract
The article provides suggestions for how number and fluency developed in primary classrooms through making number fact learning an every-day activity. Topics include discuss a number of proven strategies for the development with number sense in a non-fearful environment have had a profound effect on students' automaticity; and the value of instructional programs that emphasize strategic and flexible thinking and provision of opportunities for students.
